Who are we?

Day 4 - from Jess

The good news of today is that the supression order was lifted from yesterday's proceedings.

The bad news is I'm too tired to type about it!

The crux is that they aren't wanting the defendants to talk about the function of Pine Gap in the trial, and especially to ask witnesses about it. Which is a shame, because there are some senior staff at Pine Gap on the stand who have some great evidence to share with the public! But there were complicated arguments both yesterday and today about what is relevant, in the public interest, and what needs to be supressed for National Security.

But more solid reflections after some sleep....

Jess
